Best Career Reset in Nashville 2026: Steven Stamkos
Signed to a big contract amid much hype and fanfare, Predators forward Steven Stamkos suffered through a subpar season in 2024-25. But at age 36, the seven-time NHL All-Star found the impressive ability to hit reset on his career in 2025-26. Playing on a team that lacked offensive talent and failed to reach the playoffs, Stamkos still managed to score a team-high 42 goals while playing all 82 games. He became just the third player in franchise history to top 40 goals in a season, joining Filip Forsberg and Matt Duchene.
