Best Trails in Nashville 2026: Beaman Park
With the feel of a state natural area rather than an urban park, Beaman Park features nearly 15 miles of heavily wooded trails along Nashville’s Highland Rim. The mostly single-track trails offer everything from a 2-mile loop you can do before work to a 12.5-mile loop that will take you nearly out of cellphone range. Many families never go beyond the easily accessible Henry Creek, and there’s a 6-mile option if the 12-miler feels a bit much. Now totaling 2,670 acres thanks to the recent addition of a 300-acre tract, the park has future hiking possibilities that appear unlimited.
Past Best of Nashville wins: In our Writers’ Choice, Beaman Park has also been named Best Place to Romp in a Creek With Your Kids (2021) and Best Nearby Getaway (2019).
