Best Pro Team in Nashville 2026: Nashville SC
How have the Boys in Gold followed up the franchise’s first-ever trophy? With a new-look roster and a U.S. Open Cup in tow, Nashville SC has taken the MLS by storm in 2026. As of press time, NSC had the best record through 26 matches in league history, having already set a franchise record for wins and points with eight games still to play. Nashville has arguably the MLS’ best goalkeeper in Brian Schwake, a goal-scoring fiend in Sam Surridge, former league MVP Hany Mukhtar, a marauding swashbuckler of a fullback in Andy Najar and the deepest reserve of talent ever seen at Geodis Park. This just might be the year they’ll bring home the MLS Cup.
Past Best of Nashville wins: In our Writers’ Choice, Nashville SC has also been named Best Pro Sports Makeover (2025) and Best Call for Reinforcements (2019).
