One season after missing the playoffs for the first time in its five-year existence, Nashville SC embarked on quite the turnaround in 2025. In B.J. Callaghan’s first full season as head coach, Music City’s Major League Soccer team transformed itself into an offensive-minded, entertaining and successful squad. Thanks in part to new additions like Eddi Tagseth, Andy Najar and Jeisson Palacios — and thanks in part to the high-scoring tandem of Sam Surridge and Hany Mukhtar — Nashville won the club's first-ever trophy earlier this month and earned an MLS playoff spot late in the 2025 season.
