Best Place to Play D&D in Nashville 2026: The Game Keep
It can be intimidating to dip your toe into tabletop role-playing games like Dungeons & Dragons, but the folks at The Game Keep have created an incredible atmosphere for both rookies and veteran players. The Hermitage shop is a haven for gamers, employing the philosophy that creativity and joy are for everyone. There are no table fees to play at the Keep, and there are plenty of opportunities each week for new people to jump into a campaign. In August 2025, I wanted to try D&D and walked into the Keep on a whim — and I’ve been back every other Saturday since. It’s an infectious environment filled with wonderful people whose sole agenda is helping each other have a great time.
