Nashville has all sorts of organizations that strive to improve the city’s food system, addressing issues like food deserts, urban farming, minimizing food waste and institutional inequities that bake injustice into food distribution. FeedBack Nashville is a nonprofit group that has spent the year bringing multiple constituencies to the table to address these issues. After diagnosing and defining Nashville’s food system through surveys and community events, the group is now working to plot a path forward toward food security for all Nashvillians.
