We all know Santa is too busy in December to hit every holiday pop-up, but you can count on St. Nicky’s (that’s Nicky’s Coal Fired in The Nations when it’s holiday season) to have his best emissary on site in Santa “Ben” Claus. This “real beard” Santa takes time to make every kid feel special — especially the ones who are slowly transitioning from “Santa is a monster!” to “Santa ... I know him!” but still need some extra hand-holding. Last year, Santa B Claus gave my daughter a magic coin and christened her reindeer stuffy “Blitzen,” and those are now two of our most prized possessions.
