Little Blue Theatre Company was built on the simple yet radical idea of “honoring children not for who they will become, but for who they already are.” And its inaugural production All Smiles certainly fit that description, offering a sweet and totally sensory-friendly and interactive format that invited little ones to move, vocalize and engage with every performance. The company has already debuted a variety of creative classes and camp programs for kids ages 6 to 18. I’m eager to check out their upcoming production of Love That Dog (running Oct. 9 through 18), based on Sharon Creech’s tender tale of connection and self-discovery.
