Best Playground Slides in Nashville 2026: Mill Ridge Park
The relatively new Mill Ridge Park is a boon for families down in my neck of the woods in Cane Ridge, with basketball courts, walking trails and multiple playground areas, plus more amenities under construction. But the slides are extra special. On one play structure, there’s a slide about 4 feet tall, just right for the pre-kindergarten set. Another one spirals down from a climb of about two stories above the ground, a thrill ride that can test the mettle of a preteen. And there’s even a concrete slide about 6 feet wide that all the kids between those ages (and the occasional parent) can rocket down with eyes wide and an ear-to-ear grin.
