Best All-Ages Playground in Nashville 2026: Ravenwood Park
Nestled right on the line between Hermitage and Donelson is a little playground and park that has been a favorite among local families for years. Hidden up a hill and behind a neighborhood is Ravenwood Park, which is perhaps the most secluded public playground in the whole city. When you get up there, you can’t even see signs of the city anymore — just rows of houses out to one side, and sprawling hills filled with trees on the other. There are swings and some smaller slides for the little ones, and a massive (like, taller than your house) rope gym and slide for the bigger kids. Plus there’s a kickback wall, full basketball courts, a small water area, open fields, gazebos and access to miles of hiking trails. Ravenwood is about as serene as it gets for a playground within the city limits, and it is every bit as appealing to the parents as it is to the kids.
