Philip Krajeck’s restaurant in Werthan Mills Lofts has been packed since it opened 11 months ago, and it’s easy to see why: It’s bustling yet cozy, upscale yet affordable, and the food is exceptional. The rotating apps and sides are always creative and well-executed, and the chicken with preserved lemon and confit garlic is delightful. But the pasta dishes — particularly the garganelli verde with pork ragout and the farro gemelli with hen-of-the-woods mushrooms — put Rolf and Daughters at the top of our list.
