Set in a half-vacant shopping center whose parking lot is pocked with craters and doubles as an impromptu truck stop, Honduras Restaurant may not look like much from the outside. But don't let the paucity of reclaimed barnwood throw you: This is delicious, thoughtfully prepared food that delivers a payload of flavor for not much lempira. Try the sweet, almost pudding-like corn tamales or the baleadas — pillowy tortillas folded around beans, cheese and, if you choose, a tasty strip of char-grilled steak.
