When Texas expats Bill and Sara LaViolette moved to Music City five years ago, they missed the ready availability of their favorite Texas treat, the kolache. This fruit- or sausage-stuffed pastry is the specialty of their new bakery, Yeast Nashville near East Park at 805 Woodland St., and Nashvillians line up before the 7 a.m. opening to grab one of these treats or their other baked goods before they run out by lunchtime.
