Several of the city’s eateries are so hot you’ve got to book your table a couple weeks in advance. And then there’s The Catbird Seat — the 32-seat culinary adventure ride has a booking system that’s complex even by big-city standards. Reservations are available online only, on a rolling 30-day basis. If you want to dine on a certain night, count back 30 days from that date, then log on at exactly midnight when seats become available. A colleague joked that Catbird reservations require the strategic cunning people once deployed to get White Stripes tickets. With chef Erik Anderson as headliner, it’s worth it.
