Centuries ago, Ponce de León was on a quest to find the Fountain of Youth. (Ironically, he thought he found it in Florida.) In Nashville, you can take a much shorter quest to Morgan Park in Germantown. Find the spot where the greenway runs through the park between Fourth and Fifth avenues, and you’ll spy the replica of a sulfur spring fountain that drew countless visitors to the area in the late 1800s. They sought the water for its alleged healing and restorative powers, but — thankfully for your nose — the water running through the current fountain is not sulfuric. But perhaps there’s still some magic in the area — worth a shot, right? ABBY WHITE
