More than 56,000 people showed up to see City absolutely pound Spurs at the home of the Titans this summer. It was glorious for many reasons: First, it raised the number of people watching soccer in Nashville to more than 100,000 for the month of July (a good boost for Nashville’s MLS bid), and second, Spurs lost, meaning it was a great day. Manager Pep Guardiola’s side shipped three past the team from London and could have scored a dozen more. Let’s all laugh at Spurs. STEVE CAVENDISH
