There’s little reason to hop in the car (or even own one) when you live in Germantown. Red Bicycle and Steadfast both have great coffee, and the Nashville Farmers’ Market is filled with affordable lunch options and fresh local produce. For dinner, you can be fancy (Rolf and Daughters, City House), cozy (Monell’s) or gluttonous (312 Pizza — so long as you don’t mind sitting amid Blackhawks fans). Want to have a quiet night at home? Then grab handmade pasta and sauce from Lazzaroli (don’t forget the Cupcake Collection cupcakes for dessert) and cue up Netflix. And if you need more excitement, getting downtown is literally a walk in the park — just cross through the Bicentennial Mall and hop on the free Music City Circuit bus and you can be barfing on Broadway from too much beer in less than 20 minutes.
