The building at the corner of First Avenue and Broad has seen a lot of use since it was built 135 years ago — it’s housed a soda company, a buggy company and a feed and farm supply company. Acme reopened in the summer of 2014 as a three-story — four if you count the rooftop bar — restaurant and music venue, serving everything from sushi and burgers to cocktails and craft beers, and hosting everything from hip-hop, punk and country shows to private events and industry parties. It’s even got one of the best views in the city. Look at all those construction cranes!
