With the No. 2 pick in April’s draft, the Titans brought in two things the team has been missing for years: excitement and hope (with all apologies to former defensive back Chris Hope). The Hawaii native and Heisman winner from Oregon has a live arm, quick feet, a strong mind and a smile that could calm Mauna Loa. But more important than the tangible improvements he brings (which are legion), he finally gives Titans fans a reason to show up again and a reason to cheer when they do.
