Unbeknownst to most, hit ABC show Nashville’s Connie Britton started volunteering at Nashville’s street newspaper The Contributor months ago. She often stayed and attentively listened to homeless vendors read their poetry. She’s also lent her star power to local political campaigns (ahem, Megan Barry) and has been vocal about keeping funding for Planned Parenthood. Not bad for an adopted local.
