Painter, sculptor and filmmaker Tyler Hildebrand came to our attention when David Lusk showed the then-Memphis-based artist’s work at its Nashville outpost in 2014. Hildebrand’s now a Nashvillian, and his Lumberjack Road was one of the year’s best exhibits. And Lusk’s screening of Hildebrand’s film Wallace showed that he’s as effective behind a camera as he is in a gallery.
