The Blair School of Music's new Dobson Pipe Organ has been a revelation. Modeled after 18th century German organs, this instrument has a warm, rich sound that’s perfect in the music of the old Baroque masters, especially Bach. And since the organ was specifically designed for Turner Hall, its installation has had the added benefit of improving that theater’s notoriously poor acoustics.
