Director Matt Logan’s re-envisioning of the timeless Oz was realized in glittering fashion, with the orchestra as centerpiece around which a knockout — and stunningly costumed — cast breathed new life into an indomitable classic. The beautiful Schermerhorn setting enhanced the magic, and with that, Studio Tenn raised the bar for indigenous Music City theatrical possibilities as a multifaceted community of artistic talent proved more than ready to do more.
