Oh, to be young and live for your art, putting on shows in rustic, barebones, slightly off-the-beaten-path studios and gallery spaces for little to no money. But Spaghetti Theatre artistic director Andy Kanies makes it work, with satisfying productions like A Bright New Boise, Nerve and Frank Wedekind’s Spring Awakening, which have all provided terrific opportunities for up-and-coming actors and directors, many fresh out of college.
