Middle Tennessee’s premier sumo tournament enters its third year. The Tennessee Sumo Association brings the Sakura Cup back to Music City Fit Expo and offers the chance for men, women and youth to compete. Sumo is a surprisingly fast sport: Matches can end in a minute or less with the right push, flip or trip. And the ceremony is as important as the physicality. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience that might just get its hooks into you (and then throw you onto your side).
