When I heard that 80 percent of students at the Clay Lady came back for more classes, I was absolutely bowled over. But the more I talked to the Clay Lady herself, Danielle McDaniel, the more I understood. She counsels, fosters community and brings back the joy in art for Nashville’s high artistic achievers as well as beginners. She earned this statistic even before she had new, temperature-controlled and spacious classrooms and a seven-building campus. Long live The Clay Lady’s Campus, its classes and resources for artists.
