As the local comedy scene continues to evolve and transform during [expansive hand gesture] all of this, there are few absolutes — other than Amber Autry’s laugh, which is percussive, conspiratorial and just part of why her monthly show at Zanies keeps selling out every seat. When I attended, the headliner for the main room next door popped into The Lab just to do a few minutes, reinforcing Autry’s welcoming vibe — a plentiful sampler platter for current comedy overseen by one of the great voices of the game.
