Best Offseason Move

If you don’t win during the regular season, you damn sure better win in the offseason or face a complete revolt by your fanbase. Faced with empty seats that no ticket shenanigans could paper over and two seasons of abject misery on the field, the Titans went bold, hiring Tennessee native Jon Robinson as the team’s general manager. Coming up through the New England Patriots’ operation, Robinson restocked the Tampa Bay cupboard as director of player personnel. After taking over the Titans, he immediately made waves, trading for running back DeMarco Murray and using the club’s No. 1 overall draft pick as leverage to rebuild a depleted roster. The results are yet to be seen, but anybody who can make fans optimistic after a 3-13 campaign might be a miracle worker. STEVE CAVENDISH
