Best Nashville Predators Player Who Hasn’t Touched the Ice (Yet)

June 29, 2016, felt like any other spring day. Hockey season was over — Preds fans had tucked their foam fang fingers back into the closet. And then it happened. The Nashville Predators announced a trade that shook the hockey world to its core: longtime captain Shea Weber for the Montreal Canadiens’ biggest superstar and 2013 Norris Trophy winner, P.K. Subban. But as heartbreaking as it is to lose the hardest shot in the NHL, the wound has already started to heal. Not only is Subban one of the most charismatic players in the league (he’s already participated in more public appearances than the rest of his teammates combined, including a little Johnny Cash karaoke at Robert’s), but he’s also one of the most charitable. Last year he commenced a $10 million gift to Montreal’s Children’s Hospital. I can’t wait to see what his energy brings to Smashville — both on and off the ice. MEGAN SELING
