Then this music-biz soap came along seeking moon-eyed material for its stylized stars, wannabes, underdogs and East Side angst-rockers to sing. A slew of locals have gotten a piece of the action, from white-hot hit-makers like Shane McAnally and Hillary Lindsey to Grey’s conquerors like Trent Dabbs and Kate York and fresh-faced first-timers like Sarah Zimmerman and Justin Davis. And Season 2 will mean more soundtrack slots to fill.
