Aziz Ansari’s surprise show at Third Man Records may not have been the most polished gig — he dropped in to try out new material after performing at a benefit nearby — but it still stood tall in a year when Nashville also saw the return of Dave Chappelle and a brouhaha surrounding Tig Notaro.
