Trisha Yearwood reflects on going from a Country Hall of Fame tour guide to an exhibit subject

Few artists have done more to mentor rising female country artists than Trisha Yearwood. The country legend, who herself counts Linda Ronstadt as her ultimate musical influence, has made it her mission to lift up women’s voices. In 2019, she hosted an all-female lineup for her Every Girl on Tour concert run. In 2021, she teamed up with lesbian country singer Brooke Eden to perform a gender-flipped version of her ’90s hit "She's in Love With the Boy.” Now Yearwood is gearing up to share the stage for a good cause once again. On Sunday, Yearwood will headline Band as One: Concert for the Cure, a benefit concert for Susan G. Komen, a nonprofit organization dedicated to breast cancer research, resources and financial support, and breast health education and public policy advocacy. The star-studded lineup includes fellow country queen and Opry member Reba McEntire. The War and Treaty, Ashley McBryde, Hailey Whitters, The Band Loula, Rissi Palmer, Lukas Nelson and Charles Kelley will round out the bill.

7 p.m. at the Grand Ole Opry House

600 Opry Mills Drive
