Taking your crew to The Aquatic Critter is like going on a field trip, minus the boring tour guides and mandatory sack lunches. Open since the ’90s, the store is split into two sections: fish (pretty) and reptiles (scaly). As with any good hobby shop, the clerks know their merchandise and become very animated when talking about their products. In this case, there’s a lot to talk about, and your kids will soon learn that it’s fun to pick a reptile expert’s brain. If you’re not a fan of snakes, don’t enter. Everyone else, proceed.
