The Frist Art Museum is family-friendly no matter the day of the week, but because of the general noise level on Frist Arts Fest days, it feels much more sustainable to keep a young kid engaged in the museum. During Frist Arts Fest, the local institution hosts live music performances (this year they partnered with WNXP) and has several interactive options that appeal to the whole family. For this year’s iteration, they also had a Rock and Roll Playhouse inspired by Storied Strings at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
