It’s not easy being the new guy at The Tennessean, or becoming the old guy after only a few months on the job. But despite the year’s transitions in the newsroom, Boucher has led some of the daily’s best political coverage this year by digging below the surface and asking hard questions over and over until he gets an answer. To boot, 1100 Broadway recognizes this awesomeness and is freeing him up for more investigative reporting. Good move.
