Most Republicans in Tennessee are digging in their heels on issues they “should” be opposed to, but state Sen. Dickerson, the physician who represents District 20 from Goodlettsville to Oak Hill, is willing to consider the other side. In-state college tuition for undocumented immigrants, medical marijuana for terminally ill patients and trying to find a stopgap solution in lieu of an expansion of Medicaid are coldly regarded ideas in the GOP universe that he’s willingly engaged.
