On June 1, a Nashville campaign worker posted the following message on Craigslist with the headline, “I was canvassing for a mayoral candidate”: “It was raining and we talked on your porch. You offered me an umbrella. I should have taken it so I could return it later and talk some more. I didn’t steal your number so here I am doing the loooooong shot thing. Your name is Mary.” If you’re reading this, campaign worker — or you, Mary — we hope true love made it into the runoffs.
