All throughout the Democratic primary for the 21st District Senate race, we kept hearing the strangest thing: “I wish I could vote for both candidates.” Mancini and Yarbro both developed passionate bases, but kept the rhetoric at a high enough level that the only dilemmas for voters were matters of style. While Yarbro might have gotten the win, the real winners might be Democrats, who are perpetually in search of viable candidates.
