“Two abortions, maybe three … ” begins a Politico Magazine piece published in August. It was the story of perhaps “the biggest hypocrite in Congress,” Rep. Scott DesJarlais, and how he won a primary he wasn’t supposed to win. And it was a great read. And, hot damn, is that Chas Sisk’s byline?! Yes sir. Just after announcing that he was leaving The Tennessean — walking slowly away as it exploded behind him like a bad action movie — 1100 Broadway’s old statehouse reporter auditioned on a national stage. Hire this man.
