The Green Ray Books has made itself a destination not just for beautiful books and gifts, but also for hosting creative events in its intimate parking lot tucked just behind Gallatin Pike. On June 24, you will have the opportunity to witness the first screening of a new dance film, There Goes the Point, from Emma Morrison and McKay House. Both are members of Garage Collective, a movement group that has performed at several venues and galleries around Nashville in the past few years, from The Blue Room at Third Man Records to OZ Arts. There Goes the Point draws on both dancers’ experience with movement work, combining spoken word and comedy to explore the relationship between the conscious and subconscious mind.
