Interpol at Third Man by AC

Interpol at The Blue Room at Third Man Records, 6/14/2024

From Coachella to Australia to Europe, Interpol was on the move over the summer. The New York-based indie-rock band is now making a stop in Nashville at The Pinnacle on Oct. 17 to close out the North American leg of its tour. Following the release of This Mirror Weighs a Ton in August, the tour will not only take loyal fans back to the early 2000s when the band first got its start, but also invite new ears to experience Interpol’s first major release since 2022. Mirror is the first album the band has recorded in their home city in more than a decade, and the acclaimed 12-track record blends their signature moody sound with rich new textures like atmospheric synths and sweeping strings. At an Interpol show, you can expect an immersive visual and sonic experience; it’s almost guaranteed that famously quiet frontman Paul Banks will get straight to playing music without the chitchat. For the Nashville show, fellow New Yorkers DIIV will be opening, as well as post-punk band French Police.

8 p.m. at The Pinnacle

910 Exchange Lane
