Club No. 9

Since their first show last October, Club No. 9 has been popping up in makeshift DIY spaces and creative events, throwing epic dance parties that serve more than just a good time. Curated by an all-woman team, Club No. 9 has carved out a space for women in the male-dominated EDM world. Booking predominantly female DJs, visual artists and vendors, Club No. 9 has curated a function that is rooted in community care. From hair tinsel to fire spinning to festival-inspired upcycled clothing, it’s more of a community experience than it is a show. Oct. 9 at Cannery Hall, Club No. 9 is set to host its biggest event yet, with bass alchemist Zen Selekta headlining the night. With an Atlanta-based upbringing and Spanish heritage shaping the sound she creates, Zen Selekta’s music is bass-heavy, futuristic and deeply meditative. Her music feels like an organic molding of modern technology, intertwining sounds from our world today with those from distant pasts. Opening the night are DJs Mollywater, Zoxo and 7TENN.

9 p.m. at Cannery Hall

1 Cannery Row
