Nashville Zoo’s latest attraction, Expedition Peru, gives all the glory to a trio of Andean bears. But tucked away in the women’s restroom within the new exhibition building, you’ll find a family of tiny friends worth the price of admission. Cotton-top tamarin mum, Caqueta, and dad, Pancho, are raising adorable twins in a spacious exhibition right across from the sinks. At just 9 inches long, these tamarins are among the smallest primates in the world — and the most at risk of extinction. With their white manes and tiny, inquisitive faces, they’re a blast to watch.
