Tucked away in a small brick-pathed shopping center on Green Hills’ Bandywood Drive sits Little Gourmand, a tiny French market that you’ve either never heard of or already love. Inside, shelves are lined with pretty boxes and jars of candies, cookies, mustards and jams, all dressed up with lovely French labels. Moutarde de Meaux Pommery. Maison Francis Miot Fruits des Bois. Petits Coeurs Chocolat. The pastry case holds colorful macarons and frosted eclairs, and there’s a refrigerated display of compact tins of delicate caviar. They have everything you could want if you need to throw together a generous thank-you gift basket or impressive cheese plate on a whim while looking like you had to travel to the far ends of the world (or at least to France) to bring it all together.
