Criminal justice reform has been gaining momentum in Nashville as it has across the country, so it might not have shocked you to hear about an effort to decriminalize marijuana in Nashville. But did you think it’d be coming from Bellevue? It has, thanks to Councilman Dave Rosenberg. That’s great as a matter of policy, but it has also shown Rosenberg to be a sharp, thoughtful representative with an eye to what’s working in other cities and a willingness to get into the, uh, weeds.
