These two badass journalists both live in Nashville and are scheduled to get married this fall. Segura works for The Intercept (you know, the news organization formed basically just to report on Edward Snowden’s NSA leaks) covering prisons and sentencing, and Balko writes for The Washington Post on policing. Balko also authored Rise of the Warrior Cop — a book focused on the increasing militarization of the police. They’re like a match made in a John Grisham novel — only the frightening details about the world of policing and prisons are real. AMANDA HAGGARD
