Best Return

All due respect to the Smokies, Atlanta and Oxford, Miss., but day trips out of the 615 bubble feel like a bust after a while. THANK THE TRAVEL GODS, JETBLUE HAS RETURNED. As of now it’s only going to Boston and Fort Lauderdale, but get this, they’re direct flights. You can get hella cheap round-trip tickets (as of writing, $108 round-trip to Boston and $97 round-trip to Florida), and JetBlue is a much nicer budget airline than most. (And on a personal note, Boston is wicked fun.) So what sounds better: a two-hour flight to walk the Freedom Trail? A two-hour flight to hit the beach? Or a two-hour drive to, uh, Owensboro, Ky.? Not even a contest. I am crossing my fingers and saying a prayer to the travel gods that JetBlue will offer more destinations soon — perhaps NYC? Perhaps Iceland? Perhaps THE MOON!?! All better options than Tunica. ASHLEY SPURGEON
