Putting real people in an ad campaign shouldn’t feel like a revolutionary act, but when Elizabeth Suzann’s Diversity Campaign launched in September, the reverberations were palpable. The Nashville-based clothing line founded by Elizabeth Pape put its Signature Collection of drapey, boxy silk crepe and linen basics on real customers of all sizes — from 5-foot-8, 150-pound Robin in L.A. to 5-foot-1, 125-pound Caroline in London.
