The owners of Five Points bar Rosemary & Beauty Queen are planning another neighborhood bar concept in East Nashville.Â
Strega will occupy the space at 1405 Gallatin Ave. As reported by the Nashville Business Journal, the bar is named for saffron-infused liqueur and will feature 1970s-style interiors, including wood paneling and globe lighting, as well as an outdoor courtyard. It will serve charcuterie boards and other Italian-inspired bar food. Strega will be located near a large forthcoming development at Gallatin and Strouse avenues, which will replace East Nashville's Lincoln Tech campus.
The duo plan late-2024 opening for East Nashville restaurant
Co-owners Matthew Bell, Drew Mischke and Jim O'Shea are also planning a supper club-style restaurant for 200 S. 11th St. The currently unnamed outpost has not yet come to fruition.Â
