The owners of East Nashville restaurant Rosemary & Beauty Queen hope to open a supper club-style restaurant, also on the East Side and near Five Points, by late 2024.
Nashville Business Journal reports the future business will operate within a 3,400-square-foot building and exterior grounds located at 200 S. 11th St. Andrew Mischke, Rosemary & Beauty Queen managing partner, told NBJ the future not-yet-named restaurant will offer, compared to its nearby sister business, a more subtle vibe catered to an older clientele.
Via an LLC, Mischke and fellow co-owner Jim O’Shea paid $1.4 million for the South 11th Street property.
Nashville’s Design Build Partners is overseeing construction and design duties via a permit valued at $1.05 million. NBJ reports the work will include remodeling the interior of the existing building, razing a detached garage, and adding an outdoor area and new structure that will accommodate kitchen space and restrooms.
The interior of the future restaurant will accommodate about 70 patrons.

As Scene sister publication the Nashville Post reported in January, a commercial business is not believed to have ever operated from the building, which has stood since 1910 (read here). The building is located next to a structure accommodating Rubenfeld Law Office, with longtime business Wagon Wheel Title also operating on South 11th Street, among other professional services businesses.
Across Russell Street from the building sits Ten21, the former Y-CAP building that East Nashville real estate industry professional Mark Sanders rehabbed following the 2020 tornado. Alex Burch operates wine-focused restaurant Bad Idea in that building.
Rosemary & Beauty Queen opened in 2017 in a former residence with an address of 1102 Forest Ave. Mischke and O’Shea lease that space.
